Our core principle: We do not collect your personal data.

• Webpage Content: When you use the extension to summarize a webpage, the full text of the article is extracted locally within your browser using Readability.js. This text is never sent to our servers.
• API Keys: When you configure your own API key (e.g., from OpenAI, Anthropic, or DeepSeek) in the extension options, this key is stored locally in your Chrome Storage. It is never transmitted to us or any third party, other than being sent directly and securely to the AI provider you have selected to fulfill your summary request.
• Usage Data: We do not track how many summaries you generate, which pages you visit, or any other analytical data.

2. Information Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties.

The extension facilitates communication between your browser and the AI provider you configured (via BYOK). This data transfer is required for the summarization service to function and is subject to the privacy policy of the specific AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, or DeepSeek).
